Starting in 1965, my passion has been the German Shepherd Dog. I began competing in obedience and then began showing in the conformation ring. I've had a great deal of success in that area, having bred many Champions, Register of Merit Dogs, and a National Futurity Victor. I am also an AKC licensed conformation judge for over twenty years.
My kennel name, La Forza del Destino, explains where the years of experience have led me.The La Forza del Destino have taken me to the import. My first import in 2004, Charlott vom Hauswalder Bach, convinced me that I needed to go in a new direction to improve the breed in the United States. She is the example of courage, structure, and health with a love of life and people that the standard describes.
